WHY CNY FERTILITY PATIENTS SEE DR VINCENT BRANDEIS FOR DAILY MONITORING?

  • Ultrasound and blood testing 7 days a week by appointment
  • Dr. Brandeis is personally present during your sonogram to answer questions and call CNY
  • Results of the sonogram / follicle count are sent immediately to CNY and given to you as well.
  • Blood is drawn for all hormone studies requested by CNY and picked up by BIOREFERENCE, LABCORP, QUEST and SHERMAN ABRAMS as a STAT sample, so the results are available in several hours.
    • Estradiol, LH, FSH, and Progesterone will soon be done on-site with two hour turn around.

WHY CNY FERTILITY PATIENTS SEE DR VINCENT BRANDEIS FOR THEIR INITIAL FERTILITY EVALUATION?

  • All patients can be scheduled within three days for their initial evaluation and become CNY Fertility Patients.
  • Once a patient or couple sees Dr Brandeis, they can proceed immediately with their evaluation and steps toward IVF.
  • We expedite the CNY Fertility evaluation testing
    • Day 3 baseline hormone levels (Estradiol, FSH, LH, Progesterone, Prolactin)
    • Antral Follicle Count (Count the number of available follicles in the first days of the cycle)
    • Hysterosalpingogram (X-ray of tubes) Expedite scheduling within 72 hours
    • Sonohysterogram.
    • Sperm analysis. 7 evenings a week in our Woodside office. 6pm to 10pm
    • Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy

WHY CNY FERTILITY PATIENTS SEE DR VINCENT BRANDEIS FOR THE FULL CYCLE OF IVF MONITORING?

  • We order all medications and assist you in getting discounted prices.
  • We assist in ordering medication from local pharmacies – Kings Metrodrug, and MedCal.
  • Daily early monitoring 7 days a week.
  • Results sent immediately to CNY.
  • When the follicles are large enough (greater than 20mm) or the estradiol level is over 2000, you are scheduled for your trigger shot with Lupron or Pregnyl HCG and go to Albany 2 days later for your retrieval.

The Brandeis Fertility Center provides services to CNY patients in two ways:

1. CNY patients referred for ultrasound and blood testing

  • Seven days a week by appointment.
  • Please call us to schedule a sonogram or blood test.
  • Results of the sonogram sent to travel team immediately and given to patient.
  • Blood tests sent to lab corp or bioreference available within several hours

CNY will then contact you with instructions on

  • Dosage and next visit day

2. Patients of Dr. Brandeis who will be going to CNY for their IVF procedure:

  • Dr. Brandeis personally sees all patients for consultations and fertility evaluations.
  • A full fertility evaluation is done.
  • All monitoring for IVF including blood tests, ultrasounds, medications for the 10 days of stimulation are done in our office.
  • CNY is notified when you are ready for retrieval for your IVF and is scheduled with the CNY travel team.
  • Everything except for the day of aspiration and transfer is done in our office seven days a week by Dr. Brandeis personally.

3. We assist you in the following:

  • Compassionate care for up to 75% off on medications.
  • Scheduling your HSG and MRI, sonograms done offsite.
  • Medication instructions and injections can be done at our office, including evening trigger shots before IVF.

4. Pertinent records are sent to CNY and your CNY patient portal.

5. We have worked closely with the CNY travel team since 2012 and closely follow the same protocols for stimulation and cycle monitoring

6. Dr. Vincent Brandeis often consults directly with Dr. Kiltz regarding your stimulation instructions or other concerns regarding your evaluation results.

7. Our center does all cycle monitoring for ten (10) days.

8. When you are ready for retrieval –

  • CNY fertility is notified and you will be scheduled for retrieval and transfer at albany or syracuse.

9. The monitoring fee is $1,000 – same as CNY fertility

  • The IVF fee of $3,900 is paid directly to CNY fertility.
  • The CNY financial team answers all questions on coverage and payment plans.
